Organisation's Name: The name of the organisation is Art in Bridge

Aims and Objectives: The aims and objectives of Art in Bridge are to promote the visual and other arts & culture in Bridge and District.

Art in Bridge will initially organise Exhibitions of visual arts in the Village in 2002. It will also seek to instigate a community art project in the Village to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee.

Achievement of Objectives: The objectives are to be met through the establishment of an elected Committee and the raising of funds.

Membership of the Committee: The Steering Committee shall consist of three persons, resident in the Parish of Bridge, elected from the public at an Annual General Meeting. A Chairman shall be chosen by the elected members. The Parish Council will be invited to nominate one person to be its representative on the Committee. The Committee will have the power to co-opt members and will elect from its members any officers that it requires. A quorum will consist of at least two elected members.

The Committee membership will be re-established each year at the AGM, which will be held in April.

Bank Account: The Committee shall establish a bank account which will require the signatures of two elected members of the Committee to withdraw funds. The Committee will keep records of all income and expenditure and prepare an Annual Statement for the AGM.
